Our second Learn to Nordic Walk session in 2025. We love these sessions as it is amazing to introduce Nordic Walking to people. Another fully booked session.
Meeting up
We met everyone in the visitors centre. Handed out poles and set them up.
The training
As always we do the training on the grassed area in front of the clocktower.
We teach the first 5 steps of the INWA 10 steps and most got the hang of it straightaway.
The River Walk
After the training, we headed on the River Walk to practice what had been learned. Everyone walked at their own pace and enjoyed the walk. We stopped in a few places, to take photographs, answer any questions and give any technique tips.
Back to the cafe
Once we had completed the walk, Martin led a cool down before we headed to the cafe for refreshments.
