Our first walk of 2025 took us on the beach from Cresswell to Druridge Bay Country Park and back.
The weather was fantastic, so much so that we took some of our layers off.
The Start
Some of us got to Cresswell and went into the Drift Cafe for a quick cup of tea, although John had breakfast, whilst waiting for the rest of the group.
Once everyone had arrived, we started up the beach. As always when we are on the beach the group spread out as it is a great time to stride out.
It was also great to hear everyone chatting about their Christmas and New Year.
Druridge Bay Country Park
Once we arrived at Druridge Bay Country Park some of us enjoyed lunch there, Martin brought some brownies and everyone enjoyed their extra snack.
After this short break, we headed back to the sand and made our way back to Cresswell. Again the group spread out.
It is a great chance for our walkers to talk to different people and get to know everyone.

The End
Once back at Cresswell, we did a cool down and then headed to the Drift Cafe. Cake and scones were enjoyed by everyone.
