The Bamburgh and Seahouses walk was the first walk of February and was led by Martin. We started by following the Coastal Path, crossing the fields to Seahouses and returned on the beach.
The start
We met at the normal place, the car park in the dunes. From here we took a path through the village, by the cricket pitch and under the castle.

The Coastal Path
Just outside of Bamburgh, we joined the Coastal Path. This path crosses the fields and follows the roads inland from the coast.

The weather was still dry but a little on the cold side.

Seahouses
In Seahouses, we split up to eat where we wanted. Chris, Sue and Martin chose fish and chips.

Back to Bamburgh
When we were in Seahouses, it rained heavily but this cleared as we set off back to Bamburgh. As the tide was on it’s way out, we could walk back on the beach.

The end
When we got back to Bamburgh, we dropped off our stuff at the cars and went to visit the recently opened Walled Garden Cafe.

Hope you all enjoyed the walk. See you next time.
