The start

We will set off from Rothbury towards Whitton, following the road towards Whitton Hillhead Farm.  From here we cross fields with views of Simonside.

Whitton Hillhead to Newtown

We will turn right and head down the edge of a field and follow the Black Burn down towards the small hamlet of Newtown.

Back to Rothbury

From Newtown we take the road to meet the track down to Lady’s Bridge, where we cross the Coquet River. We simply follow the path back to Rothbury alongside the river.

After the walk

We will visit Bewicks after the walk. This is where we had our lovely Christmas Dinner after the Christmas Walk.

We hope you can join us.
