The start – Alnmouth Car Park
The beginning of the walk sees us on the path alongside the beach for a short distance before making our way past the golf course and along Lover’s Lane.
We cross the river Aln and make our way past the Cricket Club and towards Lesbury. However we don’t actually reach Lesbury. Instead, after crossing the river Aln again, we turn right along the river and through a few fields, some of which have crops in them.
The views are stunning all the way around this walk.
We walk up a small hill to Foxton Hall and Alnmouth Golf Course.
After reaching the golf course we will walk the Northumberland Coast path back to Alnmouth.
After the walk, we will be visiting our favourite tearoom in Alnmouth, Nanna Pat’s (previously The Village Tearoom).
I hope you can join me.
