Description
Broadstruther
Broadstruther is close to Wooler and is only a short walk away from Wooler Common. It was the remains of an old shepherd’s hut but is now posh shooting lodge. The walk to Broadstruther and back provides spectacular views of the surrounding area.

This walk will start at Wooler Common and follow a bridleway southeast between Watch Hill and Hart Heugh. The bridleway soon joins Broadstruther Burn and enters a long thin wood in the valley. It emerges from the wood on the slopes of Broadhope Hill, where Broadstruther is situated.
We return via paths over Great Moor to Commonburn House, where we join another bridleway for the return to Wooler Common.
Hope to see you there.
