Thrunton Wood was an extra walk added to the programme. We had been contacted by Mauro, an Italian Nordic walker, who was on holiday in the area and was interested in a walk. We have a 2019 date for your diary – SATURDAY 26TH OCTOBER 2019! Yes we know it is very early but we don’t want you to miss out.
At the Swainby/Osmotherley walk Angela and I were chatting and she said she would like to do a walk in memory of her lovely mum, Eileen, to raise money for Dementia UK. I offered to help Angela organise this walk.
We chatted about dates and Angela told me her mum would have been 100 on 24th October 2019. Unfortunately this date is a Thursday so we have decided to chose the date of SATURDAY 26TH OCTOBER 2019.

This weekend we had to refresh our first aid certificates. A valid first aid certificate is essential for our business to operate. However, what we learned on this course will ensure that we can help in any situation, regardless of whether it is on a walk or anywhere else. Everyone should do this.
