Herrington Park Midweek Walk

Herrington Park is a country park, opposite Penshaw Monument, which is built on the site of a former colliery.  It has a large lake where you will see many bird species .

What to expect

Meeting in the car park, we will walk around the Country Park.  There are excellent paths and whilst it is mainly flat, there is one small hill but it is worth the extra effort.

Penshaw Tearoom

As is tradition, we end with a trip to a tearoom.  Penshaw Tearoom is over the road.  You are very welcome to join me.
