Description
Beadnell to Seahouses

Beadnell to Seahouses takes us along the lovely strip of beach between Beadnell and Seahouses. It’s often a bit of the coast that we miss, as we head for Seahouses by road, but is just as good as the rest of the Northumberland coast.

Start
We start at the parking area at the bottom of Harbour Road, in Beadnell. We walk up the road and get onto the beach as soon as possible.
Annstead and the Snook
We follow the St Oswalds path past the small farming settlement of Annstead. From here we can see The Snook at North Sunderland, which is the south side of Seahouses.

Seahouses
Leaving the beach, we follow a footpath across the golf course and into Seahouses. This is where we will have lunch. There are places to eat your own packed lunch or we have booked a table at HOOK fish and chips.

Return to Beadnell
To return to Beadnell, we will walk into North Sunderland and then take a direct path, across fields, back to Beadnell.

After the walk
Once back in Beadnell we can visit one of the many places for refreshments.
Hope to see you there.
